What to do in Fredericton?

Capital of New Brunswick, Fredericton will be the first stop of your 3-weeks road trip to Gaspesie and New Brunswick.

• First go to Killarney Lake Park. Swim in a 3km / 1.86 mile long lake or hike on a lovely 20km / 12.4 mile long trail.
• Explore Odell Park, an actual forest in the city. In the summer, have a picnic in the grass or stroll around the beautiful gardens. In the winter, try cross country skiing on marked trails.
• Visit the Christ Church Cathedral, built in 1850. Admire the neogothic architecture on the outside and go inside to discover gorgeous stained glass.
• Do not miss the Science East, a science museum. Try out many different activities like a live hurricane simulation, or go up a climbing wall. Visit the old prison, kept in its original state where you’ll get to see different exhibitions.
