What to do in Niagara-on-the-Lake ?

Legendary falls and wine country. 

• Niagara Falls. Admire the HorseShoe Falls from the Table Rock then put your rain poncho on and get closer to the falls at Journey Behind the Falls or enjoy a (wet) cruise at the bottom of the falls.
• Niagara-on-the-Lake, one of the most well-preserved cities of North America. Roam around the 19th century streets and go enjoy museums and typical shops.
• Prestigious vineyards. Go explore famous wine estates along the Queen Elizabeth Way.

What to do in Toronto ?

Canada’s New York City : a cosmopolitan blend of districts and culture. 

• The CN Tower, for a long time world’s highest freestanding tower. Get to the top by taking world’s tallest glass elevator  and appreciate a 360° view of Toronto. And for the bravest, put a harness on -safety first ! and walk around the edge of the tower, a thrilling experience !
• St Lawrence Market, wonderful marketplace with over 50 shops. Make sure to activate all of your five senses so you don’t miss out on the smell of cheese, the taste of fresh bread … and so much more !
• Royal Ontario Museum, old of more then a century, it is Canada’s biggest natural history museum. You’ll be surprised by the combination of the old architecture and the new glass architecture added in 2007.
• Casa Loma, the only castle in Toronto. Visit this beautiful building built on top of a cliff by going up 27 m/ 88 feet of stairs.
• The Toronto Islands , about 20 islands spread over 240 ha. Hop on a ferry and you’ll get to enjoy a day of kayaking, a fun time in the amusement park of Algonquin Island or just appreciate the view of Toronto while drinking a coffee on the coast.
• High Park, a city park. Walk around or have a pic-nic surrounded by blossoming cherry trees – a gift from the Japanese Ambassador.
• The Art Gallery of Ontario, founded in 1900 it displays more than a thousand years of History. Contemplate great Canadian artists’ artwork, native American and Inuit sculptures or even a restored Georgian house.

What to do in Gananoque ?

Gorgeous victorian town on Saint-Lawrence river.

• Boldt Castle, spectacular 20th century building located on an small island in the middle of the river. Attention Non-Americans, don’t forget your passports when visiting the castle, because it’s on the american side of the river.
• Rent a kayak with 1000 Islands Kayaking and enjoy an afternoon discovering the islands.
• Go on a boat ride through hundreds of wild islands, each of which is prettier than the other !

What to do in Ottawa ?

Federal capital where architecture, skating and culture perfectly blend. 

• Parliament Hill, overlooking the river and the city center. Visit the building and its gardens and go up the Peace Tower where you will get the most amazing panoramic view of the city !
• National Gallery of Canada, a moderne architecture treasure. Admire Canadian artworks under vaulted galleries.
• ByWard Market, built in 1926. This large brick building is the perfect place to go grocery shopping, you’ll find everything you need.
• Rideau canal, listed as Wolrd Heritage. In the summer, enjoy its parks and lake for a calm walk or short nap. In the winter, the canal becomes a huge skating-rink.
• Ottawa locks, going down stairs between Parliament Hill and Château Laurier.
• Do not miss the Canadian Museum of History, a must-see ! In a modern multiple-story building, learn about the first nations and modern Canada through reconstitutions and historical objects. After visiting the museum, you’ll know everything there is to know about Canada’s history.

What to do in Mont-Tremblant ?

Famous resort in the middle of the Laurentian Mountains. 

• Take a walk in the pedestrian village where you’ll find many shops.
• Go to Tremblant lake and rent a kayak or a canoe and enjoy a calm moment on the water.
• Get a chance to go skiing or hiking in snowshoes.
• Explore Mont-Tremblant National Park, located north of the city. Go hiking on the many forest trails.

What to do in Québec ?

Québec’s soul in an authentic city. 

• Frontenac Castle, iconic 150 year old hotel.
• The Musée de la Civilisation, of modern and old architecture is always captivating. Discover its permanent exhibitions retracing Québec’s nation and Aboriginal people’s history, they even have interactive activities.
• Citadelle of Québec, North America’s largest bastion let’s you appreciate an astonishing view over Saint-Lawrence river.
• Musée national des Beaux-Arts du Québec, an excellent art museum, one of the most interesting in the region. Go discover french colony paintings, as well as Québecois abstract art.
• The Battlefields Park, overlooking the river, it spreads over the plains of Abraham. This parks tells you about the story of the battle that settled North America’s destiny en 1759. Take a walk in the park and admire the old cannons and memorials. In the summer, you could even get to enjoy an outdoors concert !
• The Old Québec, walk around the historical center of Québec and discover the Québecois city mural, over 400-year-old buildings and have a hot chocolate in a cosy coffee shop.

What to do in La Malbaie ?

• Roam around at Quai à Pointe-au-Pic for a relaxing moment.
• Get ready to climb up chemin des Falaises – which literally means Cliff path, and you’ll get to see a gorgeous coastal landscape !
• In the winter, go skiing down Mont Grand-Fonds’ slopes.
• To learn more about history, visit Manoir Richelieu, an iconic 5-star manor.
• If you like sport, go biking on a 6km / 3.7 mile trail along Saint-Lawrence river.

What to do in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts ?

• Place Jacques-Cartier, Old Montreal busiest place. Have a break at restaurant for moment  and enjoy many street artists’ shows.
• Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, a must-see for art lovers. Contemplate famous European artists’s artwork (Rembrandt, Picasso and Monet) as well as Canadian artists through permanent and temporary exhibitions.
• Lachine Canal, 14km / 8.7 mile biking and hiking trail. Enjoy the outdoors and pic-nic areas.
• Mount Royal Park, designed by the architect who imagined Central Park. This forest-covered “mountain” is perfect for running and biking during the summer and spring. During the winter, you can get your skies and sleds out ! Going up one of the belvederes you can also get an astonishing view of Montreal.
